Mr. + Mrs. Fehr

December 4, 2021
Finishing off my 2021 Wedding season with the most beautiful, Christ centred day! Tiara, the bride, and I actually attended Bible camp together several years ago. I was part of the staff while she was a camper, so I felt honoured to stand beside her and her new husband and capture all the beautiful moments throughout the day.
We started off getting ready at Tiara's parent's home. Hair and makeup, getting into the gowns, and first looks with her bridesmaids were filled with lots of smiles and laughter and minimal tears. From there, we moved to the ceremony location, the coziest little country church with blankets and a space heater to keep the guests warm. Tear jerking vows, a few worship songs and a foot washing made the ceremony their own.
It was a chilly and breezy day but the love of their friends and family almost kept us warm as we took photos and moved from location to location. Couples who choose winter wedding's seriously are troopers for toughing it out! Sourcing wool coats for all the ladies never hurts though. Just before heading out to take the formal photos, the most beautiful slow snow started to fall, adding that little extra something to their portraits.
After spending some time taking photos, warming up and snacking at the a family friends home it was party time! The reception started with a bang and the energy carried on through out the evening. Speeches, special songs and a a great MC kept the reception flowing as we indulged in a classic mennonite supper followed by an amazing chocolate cake and doughnuts. Once the first dances were done, with several classic wedding tunes following, everyone gathered outside, sparklers in hand and bid the happy couple farewell. A perfect way to end such a beautiful celebration.
